Feature papers represent the most advanced research with significant potential for high impact in the field. A Feature
Paper should be a substantial original Article that involves several techniques or approaches, provides an outlook for
future research directions and describes possible research applications.
Feature papers are submitted upon individual invitation or recommendation by the scientific editors and must receive
positive feedback from the reviewers.
Editor’s Choice articles are based on recommendations by the scientific editors of MDPI journals from around the world.
Editors select a small number of articles recently published in the journal that they believe will be particularly
interesting to readers, or important in the respective research area. The aim is to provide a snapshot of some of the
most exciting work published in the various research areas of the journal.
We are pleased to announce the two winners of the Pharmaceutics Travel Awards 2020:
Dr. Wei Li is a postdoctoral researcher from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Helsinki, Finland. His research focuses on the development of nano/micro-particles with ultrahigh drug loading for controlled drug delivery.
Ms. Andreia Almeida is a PhD student at the Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar (ICBAS) and Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde (i3S), University of Porto, Portugal. Her PhD research is based on the production of mucoadhesive camptothecin polymeric micelles as nanodelivery systems for oral chemotherapy to treat colorectal cancer.
Each Travel Award consists of a certificate and 800 CHF for the recipient to attend an academic conference of their choice in 2020. Congratulations to the winners of this highly competitive travel award.
We would like to thank all sixteen Scientific Committee members for their assiduous evaluation of the candidates, and all the applicants for submitting their fascinating research on a diverse range of topics.
