Dear Colleagues,

In the past decade, conducting polymer-based nanocomposites have gained momentum in the design of materials with synergistic properties by overcoming the inherent limitations of pure materials. Compared with traditional conductive materials (e.g., carbon-based materials, metal-based materials), conducting polymer-based nanocomposites demonstrate excellent electrochemical activity, good processability, light weight, high flexibility, and other outstanding properties which have led to their wide use in various scientific fields: in energy storage devices, sensors, flexible electronics, biomedical technology, and so forth.

This Special Issue focuses on all relevant aspects of conducting polymer-based nanocomposites, from design to manufacturing, characterization, performance evaluation of materials and their applications in various fields, including, but not limited to, flexible electronics, supercapacitors, batteries, sensors, energy harvesting devices, EMI shielding, and biomedicine. We invite authors to share their latest investigations in the form of original research articles and reviews.
