Dear Colleagues,
Plant bioactive compounds have always played an important role in the treatment of human health disorders and personal care, resulting in them being applied in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic fields. This Special Issue aims to collect research dealing with various aspects of plant bioactive compounds. Papers on advances in extractive methods, as well as on modern dereplication approaches used for identifying bioactive compounds and their in vitro or in vivo biological activities, either as pure isolated compounds or in mixtures, can be submitted. Articles on any of the mentioned topics are sought, with the goal of sharing the latest findings on these amazing molecules with the scientific community.

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Molecules is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
