Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to submit a paper to our upcoming Special Issue on "Advances in Statistical Methods and Applications for Multi-Omics Data". This aims to feature original research articles, reviews, and perspectives that focus on the development and application of statistical methods for analyzing complex multi-omics data.

With the advent of high-throughput technologies, multi-omics data have become increasingly prevalent in many areas of research, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics. These datasets are high dimensional, complex, and heterogeneous, and require sophisticated statistical methods for accurate and meaningful analysis.

This Special Issue will highlight recent advancements in statistical methods and their applications in multi-omics data analysis. We welcome submissions that cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Dimension reduction and feature selection methods;
  • Integration and fusion of multi-omics data;
  • Network and pathway analysis;
  • Machine learning and deep learning approaches;
  • Statistical models for longitudinal and time-series data;
  • Software tools and packages for multi-omics data analysis.

We hope that this Special Issue will provide a platform for researchers from various disciplines to share their latest findings, discuss emerging challenges, and propose novel solutions. We believe that the insights gained from this Issue will help advance our understanding of complex biological systems and diseases.

We look forward to your contribution and participation in this exciting project.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Mathematics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2600 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
