Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Complex networks and data mining are two important and interrelated fields in computer science and data analysis. Complex networks refer to large-scale systems composed of interconnected nodes, such as social networks, biological systems, and physical systems. Data mining involves extracting valuable insights and knowledge from large datasets. The combination of these two fields has led to a greater understanding of complex systems and has facilitated the development of effective solutions to real-world problems.

Mathematical problems associated with complex networks include the study of network centralities, where nodes with high centrality have a greater influence on the overall behavior of the network. Other mathematical concepts associated with complex networks include clustering, community detection.

Some possible topics for articles related to complex networks and data mining include the development of novel algorithms for network analysis, the application of complex network analysis to different domains, the study of information propagation and influence in social networks, the application of complex network analysis to biological systems, and the development of more efficient and robust systems for Industry 5.0. Other possible topics could include the study of network resilience and vulnerability, the development of algorithms for community detection and clustering, and the study of network evolution over time.
