Dear Colleagues,
This Special Issue focuses on new perspectives and applications of evolutionary optimization methods and artificial intelligence applied to control systems and robotics. These engineering domains have recently leveraged evolutionary and intelligent approaches, including, but not limited to, mathematical and computational tools such as genetic algorithms, swarm intelligence, metaheuristic optimization, statistical inference, fuzzy systems, neural networks, and deep learning. They are particularly interested in control and robotics to perceive, learn, reason, and adapt to the internal state or external environment. This Special Issue aims to include theoretical advances, methodological approaches, reviews, and use case applications.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Mathematics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
