Special Issue Information

Mathematical, physical and biological sciences have emerged as areas of interest in recent years. This is primarily due to the fact that they can successfully simulate and analyze some of the most important real-life phenomena and real-life situations, these themselves having wide applications. The ability to model such systems and to find effective analytical and computational results for different complex models, especially the fractional-order models which have captured the interest of so many researchers worldwide, to investigate further and deeper into their dynamical behavior and consequences. Modeling and analysis of heat-related diseases, tumor modeling, disease modeling, etc., are some of the topics that need highlighting further and investigating deeper.

We invite specialists to submit research and review articles for inclusion in this Special Issue. In particularly, we seek articles that present some new insights, new developments, and new approaches to simulating important physical and biological issues related to the interaction of mathematical and computational sciences. Mathematical models of fractional order should be of special interest in most (if not all) of the papers submitted to this Special Issue owing to its having potentially wide applications in various areas of mathematical and compactional biology. Other papers, which present a fusion between mathematics and computer science involving other physical and biological applications, are also welcome by this Special Issue.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Mathematics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2600 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
