Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue of Marine Drugs entitled “Synthesis of Marine Natural Products” will discuss the chemistry involved in the synthesis of biologically active marine compounds such as fatty acids, amino acids, polyamines, or phenol derivatives, and why marine animals and plants elaborate any distinct kinds of molecules. The structure–activity relationships of these marine molecules will be also examined in order to demonstrate the wide interest of chemists in mimicking Nature. Finally, this Issue is intended for chemists with an interest in the marine environment as well as oceanographers, marine biologists, marine scientists, and pharmacologists.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website.
