Travel Award

Dear Colleagues,

As Editor-in-Chief of Machines, I am pleased to announce the two winners of the 2020 Travel Awards sponsored by Machines. The awards were granted to Dr. Tommaso Lisini Baldi, Postdoctoral Fellow of University of Siena, and Ms. Natalia Fernanda Espinoza Sepulveda, Phd Student of The University of Manchester. The awards consist of 400 Swiss Francs each to support attendance at the academic conference related to Machines and sensing topics in 2020.

Dr. Tommaso Lisini Baldi’s focus is on “Robotics, Human–Robot Interactions, Haptics, and Assistive Robotics”.

Ms. Natalia Fernanda Espinoza Sepulveda’s focus is “Development of Generic Vibration-Based Fault Diagnosis for Rotating Machines”.

I would like to congratulate the winners and thank the selection committee for their excellent work in the hard task of selecting the winners from such a large number of excellent candidate profiles.
