Special Issue Information

This Special Issue will focus on how home visiting can foster positive child development.  It will explore how consistent home-visiting interventions from prenatal through the preschool years can positively influence the cognitive, physical, and socioemotional development of children. Potential topics include how home visitor characteristics impact the success of programs, how engagement variables affect program efficacy, how demographic variables relate to overall program effectiveness, or how any other variables enable home-visiting programs to effect positive changes in child development. Discussion of the role of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in how positive changes occur is encouraged.
