26–30 June 2023, Copenhagen, Denmark
The 17th International Luminescence and Electron Spin Resonance Dating Conference

Luminescence geochronology is one of the leading techniques for dating Quaternary sediments in the age range of 0–500 ka. The International Luminescence and Electron Spin Resonance Dating (LED) Conference covers the latest research and development in the field of luminescence geochronology and its applications to geoscience and archaeology.

The 17th International Luminescence and Electron Spin Resonance Dating Conference (LED2023) is hosted by the Department of Physics, Technical University of Denmark from 26th to 30th June in Copenhagen, Denmark. LED2023 continues the tradition of LED conferences that have occurred for more than 40 years. The conference strives to encourage academic networking opportunities by bringing together students, early career researchers and established researchers.

There will be a pre-conference workshop on the novel Rock Surface Luminescence Dating technique (25th June 2023). The workshop will cover theoretical aspects, practical considerations and new technologies in rock surface exposure and burial dating. There is also a 2.5-day post-conference field trip to the beautiful west coast of Jutland, Denmark.
