Travel Award
The application deadline of the Fire Travel Award 2024 is extended. Entries will be accepted until the end of May 2024. We are looking forward to applications from all over the world.
The Fire Travel Award was launched in 2024, and it is presented every year to encourage junior scientists to present their latest research at academic conferences in the field of the science, policy, and technology of fires, which helps to increase their influence.
The Fire Travel Award 2024 will be open for applications before the end of May 2024, and winners will be announced by the end of June 2024.
The Prize:
– CHF 500;
– A certificate.

Eligibility and Requirements
– Postdoctoral fellows or PhD students, research fellows;
– Plans to attend an international conference in 2024 (oral presentation or poster).
List of Documents for Application
– Information of the conference the applicant is planning to attend and the abstract that will be submitted;
– Curriculum Vitae and list of publications;
– Justification letter describing the focus of the research (max. 800 words);
– Letter of recommendation from the supervisor, research director, or department head, which also confirms the applicant’s status.
