Travel Award
Dear Colleagues,
As Editor-in-Chief of the Epigenomes Journal, on behalf of the Travel Award 2017 Committee, it is my pleasure to announce that the winner of the 2017 Epigenomes Travel Award is Dr. Eswar Shankar. Dr. Shankar has been involved in prostate cancer research since 2009. He is currently a research associate in the Department of Urology, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH. He has co-authored more than 20 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals.
On behalf of Epigenomes, Dr. Shankar will be awarded 500 Swiss Francs to attend the Annual Meeting of American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) that will be held 14–18 April 2018 in Chicago, Illinois. There, he will present his work on “Synergistic Inhibition of EZH2 and Androgen Receptor Potentiates Death of Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer”.
