Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Innovations in sensor technology are under continuous development. In this context, the integration of nanomaterials and nanoparticles into biosensing is an area undergoing wide expansion. Because nanomaterials offer unique surface-to-volume ratios, outstanding surface properties, and unique optical and electrical behaviors, their application in sensing is intended as a means to boost sensors’ performance and reach improved sensitivities and signal transduction. In order to highlight some of the latest advances in nanoparticle-based sensors, we invite you to consider submitting a manuscript to our upcoming Special Issue, “Nanoparticles in Chemical and Biological Sensing”.
We welcome submissions from any area of chemo/biosensing, provided that nanoparticles are involved in the sensor design or use. Both research papers and review articles will be considered. If you are interested in contributing to this Special Issue, we would very much appreciate receiving the tentative title of your contribution.

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Chemosensors is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
