9–12 July 2024, Lublin, Poland
OxiZymes 2024

Since the first meeting in 2002 in Cassis (France), the OxiZymes meetings have been established as a platform for scientific discussions on the mode of action of oxidoreductases. Building on the success of previous OxiZymes meetings (Cassis, Napoli, Oeiras, Helsinki, Leipzig, Marseille, Wien, Wageningen, Belfast, Siena), OxiZymes 2024 in Lublin, Poland will emphasize the latest development in oxidoreductases research including their discovery, structure and function, engineering, performance, and applications. The conference format is designed to be highly interactive, with ample time for stimulating discussions, interdisciplinary interactions, and meetings alongside the scientific sessions. The OxiZymes 2024 conference will provide a unique opportunity for researchers and academics to transfer knowledge and establish research collaborations.

The scientific format of OxiZymes 2024 will cover the following topics:

  • Oxidative and reductive biocatalysis;
  • Structure–function relationships, protein engineering, and biomimetic approaches;
  • Newly discovered oxidoreductases;
  • Physiology, regulation, and production of oxidoreductases;
  • Biotechnological applications of oxizymes:
    • in fine chemistry;
    • in food;
    • in biorefineries;
    • in biosensors;
    • in biomaterials applications.

The scientific program will offer oral presentations, including lectures by invited speakers, the lecture for the Sophie Vanhulle Prize, and also a poster session. The Special PreConference BioToP Session will be organized in the frame of the Ph.D. program BioToP at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.

OxiZymes 2024 is hosted by Maria Curie-Sklodowska University, founded in 1944, the largest university in Lublin.

On behalf of the Scientific Committee of OxiZymes conference and the local organizing committee, it is a great pleasure to welcome you to Lublin for the OxiZymes 2024 meeting!
