Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite contributions to our Special Issue titled “Effects of Feed Additives on the Gut Health of Monogastric Animals”. This Special Issue will explore how feed additives influence the health and productivity of animals like pigs, chickens, and horses, focusing on nutrient absorption, immune function, and overall well-being.
The aim of this Special Issue is to gather a collection of insightful research articles and reviews that align with our journal's focus on animal nutrition and veterinary science. We aim to curate at least 10 high-quality papers that could lead to advancements in feed strategies and animal care, with potential publication in book form.
Contributors are encouraged to submit original research and reviews on topics such as the effects of probiotics, prebiotics, and enzymes on gut health; the impact of these additives across different species; and their implications for disease resistance and growth performance.
We look forward to your submissions and to advancing our understanding of this vital area.

All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Animals is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
