Aim:
Dear Colleagues,
Nanotechnology has emerged as a promising technology in recent decades. Numerous nanomaterials and nanocomposites have been synthesized and find diverse applications in many fields, including electronics, water and air purification, cosmetics, food, health sector, etc. The market of nanotechnology is growing at a rapid pace and will continue to do so in the future as well. The aim of this Special Issue is to explore the potential of different nanomaterials in healthcare and environment sectors and to discuss new opportunities in this field.
Scope:
This Special Issue will incorporate research and review articles on exploring use of nanomaterials in healthcare. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Nanosafety and state-of-art nanomaterial synthesis strategies
- Advances in nanomaterials research in health and environment
- Risks from nanomaterials in health and environment

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. J is an international peer-reviewed open access quarterly journal published by MDPI.
