In this article, the authors summarized mechanisms and functions of Piezo channels, and reviewed focal vibration therapies. I think it is an interesting topic and the article contains a lot of information based on considerable references; however, there are some concerns which have to be clarified before publication.
Major criticism
1. [Overall] On the whole, I think it is quite hard for readers to find out information they want from the text. Authors should provide tables or figures to help readers to quickly understand. Especially, summarized tables of preclinical researches and clinical trials of focal vibration therapy will be valuable.
2. [Conclusion] I think Conclusion section should be summarized in an easy-to-understand manner.
Minor criticism
1. [Abbreviations] LTMR is not defined the first time they appear (P5, L139).
[Figures] In figure 1c, “skin blood flow [Bovenzi 99]” does not have up or down arrow. In addition, they will be kind for readers if the contents include the reference numbers.
