Reviewer 2 Report

Communication entitled “Alzheimer’s Disease and Premature Ovarian Insufficiency” submitted by Prof. Svetlana presented the role of Estradiol in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Further, the role of Estradiol in Premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) has been discussed. Some typical markers of AD viz., IL-6, IL-8, TNFα, TAU1 and TREM2 were reported in POI.  However, treatment with Estradiol in POI was reported to decrease the level of IL-6. Authors should correlate the AD, Estradiol, and POI more frequently in various sections of the manuscript. Serious spelling and English checks should be performed. The manuscript can not be accepted in its present form. There are some Major comments listed below-

Major

1.       Introduction section of the manuscript contains very general information about AD. The audience of the journal is not going to benefited.

2.       Content mentioned in table 1 is already covered in the text. Authors may add some extra information to it.

3.       The section etiology of AD further contains sub-sections 1 and 2. These two subsections further contain sallow information. Authors may correlate these to subsection with POI-mediated AD and Estradiol.

4.       Authors may include one figure showing the Estradiol and AD crosstalk.

Minor

1.       There are a lot of misspellings in the manuscript like Premature ovarian insufiiciency,  comlications, Ffects, fluences, etc.

2.       Many places in between the sentence full stop (.) symbols were used.

Author Response

Thank You very much for all comments.

  1. “General information about AD”

That’s true. AD deserve lomg, long story. We were limited by number of pages. The most important was the relationship between hypoestrogenism an AD. The most important characteristics were given because it is endocrine journal, nor neurological.

  1. Some extra informations were added.
  2. POI and AD were correlated
  3. Crosstalk between AD and POI mechanism were added.

Round 2

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript has been improved significantly and can be accepted.
