Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Experiments were well performed and the theme is moderately novel and very interesting, but some minor improvements are needed. Overall, the manuscript will meet the publishing standard of the journal after minor revisions.

Statistical analysis:Is it possible to consider adding a comprehensive analysis of the data? For example, one can add a correlation analysis about each indicator after treatment with different salt concentrations and inoculation with AMF from different regions, or some other suitable analysis method to improve the completeness and rigor of the manuscript.

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear authors,

In this study, authors hypothesize that AMF will improve growth of Acacia due to increased access to soil P.  This study aim was to examine whether arbuscular fungi occuring in ecological zones occupied by A. seyal influence the phosphate  nutrition and growth of A. seyal under a range of salinity levels. Findings suggest that AMF inoculation could be a viable approach to sustain plant production under saline conditions. The work is generally well-structured and scientifically written in a fluent language. However, there are a few minor revisions that escaped attention. These are highlighted in the enclosed file. Finally, after these minor revisions, I think it can be published.
