The introduction must be expanded to include the indication / description / discussion of other alkaloids-containing plants.

Table 4, 5 and 6 should average the names of temperature and H2O with regard to the height of the column.

In Tables 1 and 6, no (*) is marked among the data, and the interpretation is included in the table.

Please complete the description (2.5 Statistical analysis) with the specific program name and version

The manuscript tried to explore the relationships between alkaloids and temperature and GA3 during germination.  Analyzing alkaloids after imbibition treatments provide some interesting data about the Atemoya seed germination. However, the hypothesis of breaking dormancy in Atemoya is different from the common concept of seed dormancy. Some suggestions may help to improve the article.

Introduction:

The different kinds of alkaloids among Annona spp. and the special alkaloids in Atemoya are suggested to give more information in the introduction. Authors can further explain the relationship or hypothesis between alkaloids and GA3, temperature, or seed dormancy.

Are alkaloids the major compounds to inhibit seed germination in Atemoya? What does the role of ABA play in Atemoya seed dormancy?

The aim or hypothesis of this study is not clear. What are the effects of temperature or GA3 on seed germination? More information should be provided about the unknown or the problem of alkaloids in seed germination.

Materials and Methods:

2.2 How many seeds for each group?

The information on UHPLC and the statistical software should be provided, please refer to the instructions for authors or published papers.

Results and discussion:

Are the effects of GA3 and temperature on breaking seed dormancy and early seedling development in the same role? Why choose the 20-30 variation?

Besides the presence or absence of alkaloids in table 2 or 3, the content or the variation before and after imbibition could be shown.
