Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This is an exhaustive review addressed to highlight the progresses in ACL reconstruction considering the state of the art in graft development. The manuscript is well written even if some typographical errors are present.

Paragraph 4.4 (page 12 lines 501-549) is reported twice.

 Minor comments:

Page 2 Line 55. This sentence must be rephrased, moreover the term “system” is not adequate.

You could substitute it with “tissue”.

Reviewer 2 Report

I'm very glad to become acquainted with such interesting research.

In my opinion, the review article is well designed and very informative.

I have no conceptual notes to authors, but have some technical notes.

I can only advise to improve quality of some Figures.

E.g., Figures 2, 3d, 5, 6a, have low dpi.

List of references and references in text should be corrected according to rules.

Ufortunatly we are not able to incerase figures resolutions because they are  cited.  The sharpness of the images has been improved but we were not able to increase the dpi. Our marks according your suggestions are highlighted in submitted version of article.
