Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

I congratulate the authors for this comprehensive narrative review that presented almost all published studies and ongoing trials on the therapeutic effects of iNO in Covid-19. The topic was introduced adequately, and all relevant publications were identified and comprehensively analyzed and presented. This review is a solid base for future systematic reviews on this topic. I have no additional comments or remarks.

We would like to thank you for the review of our manuscript and all the comments provided.

Reviewer 2 Report

This work is extremely interesting and comprehensive. It clearly indicates the therapeutic significance of the use of iNOS. Its clinical significance is also great given the current situation with the COVID19 pandemic.

Perhaps it would be good to present the abstract in a structured way and to highlight the conclusion of the paper more clearly. Namely, it is necessary to essentially emphasize the importance of iNOS as a therapeutic protocol in Covid-19 positive patients.

Author Response

We would like to thank you for the review of our manuscript and all the comments provided.

According to your recommendations we structured the abstract and  highlighted the conclusion of the paper more clearly. Namely, we essentially emphasized the importance of iNOS as a therapeutic protocol in Covid-19 positive patients.

In the "Acknowledgement" section we included an acknowledgement to Dr. Zapol.
