Solving Boolean Equations Based on Grover Quantum Search Algorithm

In this manuscript the authors try to propose a method for solving Boolean equations based on the Grover algorithm.

Title of two subsections, 2.1 and 2.2, are same. i.e., both of them are “The main steps of the Grover algorithm”. What is the difference?

Equation 2 is missed.

Some states in the manuscript seem that need to be revised, e.g.:

·       “Quantum computing is a new computing method.”, but quantum computing is not a new method!

·       “Quantum algorithms can give full play to the performance of quantum computing hardware, greatly improving quantum computing power and increasing performance in dealing with complex problems that classical computers cannot solve.”, It is also wrong. There so many other statements like these that should be revised.

Section 3 has nothing for readers of an academic journal paper in this level.

Fig. 3 representation is not true. Fig. 4 representation is also not true.

Overall, I couldn’t find sufficient level of novelty. I cannot suggest publication of the current version.

1. Merely inspecting their figures, you may realize the quality is not acceptable.

2. Section 2 is very short and generic. The presented facts are not explicitly (reasonably) used in further sections. The role of this section is unclear.

3. It would be nice if the author can provide the more description related to the dataset used.

4. The conclusion should be improved with future directions on the paper.

5. Authors need to confirm that all acronyms are defined before being used for the first time. Update the literature with following works:

The main goal of the paper is "Solving Boolean Equations Based on Grover Quantum Search Algorithm.". However, I can not find sufficient contributions regarding "Solving Boolean Equations.". Authors should change the title of the manuscript.

1- The authors failed to find a related title for their manuscript. The title is not appropriate. They didn't propose any quantum algorithm. I suggest this title:

Optimizing the Quantum Circuit for Solving Boolean Equations Based on Grover Search Algorithm

2- Their contribution is marginal. Only Replacing CX/CCX/MCX gates with phase gates. Also, its drawbacks are not mentioned if any.

3- Authors should avoid sentences beginning with a reference. I suggest changing all of them.
[9] optimizes, [10] developed, [12] proposed, [13] solved,  [16] shows, etc.
