1.            Decipher the abbreviations: BOTDR, φ-OTDR, XLPE, PE, PP, SST.

2.            It is recommended to add photos of cables in the Introduction section.

3.            Specify the manufacturer of HYJYF41-F 35kV three-core cable.

4.            Specify references to literary sources for data from Tables 1 and 2. For example, check the density of Optical fiber.

5.            In section 3. Fluid-structure interaction simulation model, specify the name of the software program in which the calculations were performed.

6.            Specify parameter values for the turbulence model.

7.            In section 3.3. Meshing, it is recommended to specify the names of the finite elements and their number in the model.

8.            It is necessary to improve the quality of Figure 3. What is depicted in the figure 3? Scale bars are not visible.

9.            Specify the dimension of the vertical axis in Figure 4.

10.          In section 5.2.3 Simulation results of mechanical response characteristics of vortex-induced vibration, specify which stresses are depicted (stress is tensor). It is recommended to make a comparison with the strength of the material in the armour layer.

11.          It is recommended to discuss the continuation of this work. For example, making calculations taking into account changes in the temperature of the cable during operation, or making calculations for local buckling of the cable. How is the experimental validation of the proposed model planned?
