Reviewer 2 Report

The paper is devoted to the study of a closed form of the non-resonant thermonuclear functions in the Maxwell-Boltzmann and the non-extensive statistics, with the use of the Mellin transformation technique. These results could be very interesting in many problems of nuclear astrophysic and of statistical mechanics.

The paper is well written with a clear discussion of the obtained results. The conclusions are concisely stated. I have no recommendations to the author and believe the paper should be accepted in its current form.
