- Kese granite from the BNMB was formed in the middle Early Cretaceous (127.8 ± 1.7 Ma) and is highly fractionated granite;
- The continental collision of the Lhasa and Qiangtang terranes was initiated prior to 128 Ma and drove the reworking of pre-existing juvenile and ancient materials in different crustal levels;
- The reworking and increase in maturity of the continental crust in the north Lhasa terrane are considered suitable for preliminary exploration for Sn–W–(U) minerals in the BNMB.
