Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear Authors

the efficacy of copper to control bacterial diseases  is well known to everybody. Therefore your study as it has been structured and presented does not bring any new information about this aspect.  I suggest that you review your data and see if you can find any solutions to propose for the control of the  diseases in view in of phasing out of copper.

Best regards

Round 2

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear Authors

as of arpil 20, 2023, the EU will eliminate Cu compounds form the substitution list. This changes again the focus taht you need to give to the paper. Also, I think that Cu efficacy does not need any confirmation, therefore your paper must addrress the issue in another more meaningful perspective to provide some new information.
