Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The manuscript entitled “Synergistic Evolution of China's Green Economy and Digital Economy Based on LSTM-GM and Grey Absolute Correlation” has been investigated in detail. The topic addressed in the manuscript is potentially interesting and the manuscript contains some practical meanings, however, there are some issues which should be addressed by the authors:

(1)   There are some grammatical errors in manuscript. I advise the author send this manuscript to proofreader.

(2)   It is suggested to explain in the introduction why China is taken as a case to analyze the synergistic evolution of digital economy and green economy.

(3)   Fully review the existing literatures on the relationship (Such as coupling and coordination relationships) between digital economy and green economy to highlight the creativity of this article.

(4)   It is proposed to change the title of 2.3 to “the relationship between digital economy and green economy”. Besides, it is suggested to add literatures on the coordination relationship between digital economy and green economy in this section.

There are some grammatical errors in manuscript. I advise the author send this manuscript to proofreader.

Reviewer 2 Report

''This paper examines the field of green and digital economies, making it necessary to sort out the preliminary research from the aspects of the development status of both economies and their synergistic relationship".

Our recommendations as follows:

1.  Introduction section: Authors write : ''Based on selecting 41 Green Economy indicators and 23 Digital Economy indicators, combined with authoritative department statistical data, this paper has established a comprehensive indicator system for green and digital economy" : Explain the  choice made to select 41 GE Indicators and  23 DE ?

* More two paragraphs needed in the introduction section, at least.

2. Literature section :

*  Green Economy : more papers utilized this Variable/ concept. But you have just montioned  just few theoritical farmework ( exp. Ren et al. 2021; Wang et al. 74 2021; Han et al. 2022). Please, improve with more cited reference papers (See: Sustainability, Econoimies, ScienceDirect, Springer Natures, etc.)

* Digital Economy: (Idem) Please, improve with more cited reference papers (See: Sustainability, Econoimies, ScienceDirect, Springer Natures, etc.)

* GE& DE : Research on the green economy and the digital economy has focused on four areas: Present all these studies in clear TABLE (Authors/ Variables/ Year/ Results/ References).

These research papers can help your literature review :

2.  Model construction:

* The synergistic relationship is analyzed using the absolute gray correlation model, and the gray prediction model is optimized using the LSTM model to predict future development trends : Provide cited reference papers used these models to predit FDT?

* Software used to provide the gray prediction model LSTM ?

* Calculate the information entropy : Provide cited reference papers !

* LSTM-GM prediction model: ( Idem)

3. Empirical research

* Fig 2 & Fig 3 : revise the size ( are not clear to ckeck the indicators used)!!

*Table 1. Green Economy Composite Weighting: Source + software used??

* Table2 : (idem.)

* Green Economy and Digital Economy Forecast : Expain more ( The average simulation relative errors for the green and 362 digital economies were calculated to be 9.07% and 11.882%, so the optimization coeffi- 363 cients k was 0.9093 and 0.8812, respectively)

* Figure 6. Green Economy Gray Forecast: G715, G729, etc. the interpretation of this predictor indicators?

4. Discussion section: to revise more!

5. Limitations and recomendations section : is missed !

6. Conclusion: is missed too.

7. References : all new research papers must be cited according the Sustainability Journal references.

Round 2

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors have revised the paper according to my suggestions. However, there are problems with the structural design of the article, such as in the fourth paragraph of the introduction. It is suggested that the author revise the fourth paragraph to form an organic whole with the other paragraphs of the manuscript.
