The authors have made a good job dealing with the concerns raised by reviewers. The paper could now be read much easier, and most of the previously confusing ítems have been solved. I have only a few minor points to consider:

L70 - "respond differentially" to what? Please be explicit

L104 - Please explain how you extracted a single value for each trait and plot from the six visits performed to each plot. Did you use a "cummulative" strategy (i.e. considering the total number of species detected in any particular plot over the six sampling sessions?

L110 - "the value of unccupied grid cells" - See Table 2, L173 - Should not be "occupied cells"?
