Immunotherapy and Chemotherapy Versus Sleep Disturbances for NSCLC Patients

This is a generally well conceived and well written study.  Different information is given in the abstract and the introduction regarding the staging of patients, and this needs to be addressed prior to publication.  Are all patients stage IV or are some stage IIIb?  There is a need for some English language editing in order to make the findings understandable, but this should be easily done by an English language editor.

The topic of sleep disturbances during cancer treatment does not receive enough attention, but absolutely affects quality of life and fatigue during and after cancer treatment.  Therefore the topic of this paper should be of interest to any clinician treating patients diagnosed with lung cancer.  

As the authors note, the primary weakness of this study is the low sample size, leading to concerns that the findings may be less reliable than would be hoped. Also, the authors point out that none of the participants were receiving both chemotherapy and immunotherapy, as is often the case.  However, the current reviewer does not see this as a study weakness, in that this study could be considered a pilot study aimed at comparing the impact of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and evaluating the interaction of both would be beyond the scope of such a small trial.  Hopefully, the impact of combined chemotherapy/immunotherapy will be assessed in a later trial.

All patients were stage IV. We have made both grammatical and linguistical corrections where necessary
