Young Investigator Award

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that Water is now inviting nominations for the Water 2024 Young Investigator Award. This prize will be given to two young investigators in recognition of their excellence in the field of all aspects of water, including water science, technology, management, and governance. All nominations will be assessed by an Award Evaluation Committee, led by the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Jean-Luc PROBST.

The Prize
– The first prize (one awardee): CHF 2000 and a chance to publish a paper free of charge in Water in 2024;
– The second prize (one awardee): CHF 1500 and a chance to publish a paper free of charge in Water in 2024.

Eligibility and Requirements
– Must have received their PhD no more than 10 years prior to 30 June 2024;
– Must have produced groundbreaking research and made a significant contribution to the advancement of all aspects of water, including water science, technology, management, and governance;
– Candidates must be nominated by senior scientists.

List of Documents for Nomination
– Detailed curriculum vitae, including an updated publication list and a list of the researcher’s own research grants;
– Scanned copy of doctorate certificate;
– Signed nomination letters from two established senior scientists.

Schedule
– Open for nominations: 10 September 2023;
– Nomination deadline: 30 April 2024;
– Winners announcement: 30 June 2024.
