Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In recent years, cancer research has made great progress in understanding the molecular causes of various cancers. This has led to the development of new cancer therapies that can block key pathways. These breakthroughs have identified new targets that can be used in medical treatments. The range of pharmaceutical methods for treating cancer has also expanded with the emergence of experimental methods featuring novel drug delivery systems and immunotherapies. This Special Issue intends to highlight the recent developments in finding new targets and experimental therapeutic methods for diverse cancer types, with a particular emphasis on pharmaceutical interventions. This Special Issue will focus on providing insights into cutting-edge research and prospective discoveries that have the potential to advance cancer treatment paradigms and provide a comprehensive overview of the constantly developing landscape of cancer treatment. This Special Issue will consider original research and review articles covering a wide range of topics, including but not limited to experimental therapeutics, targeted drug discovery, drug repurposing, the effects of drugs on cancer models, novel drug delivery systems, immuno-pharmaceutical strategies in cancer therapy, precision approaches in the pharmaceutical field, advancing pharmaceutical modalities. We invite submissions consisting of original research and review articles in the broad area of preclinical models and clinical trials, highlighting the pharmaceutical potential of molecular targets that are important in cancer development, progression, and metastasis.

All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the highest standards of scientific integrity and quality. We look forward to receiving your contributions and collaborating with you to advance cancer biology. Should you have any queries or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact the Editorial team of Pharmaceuticals. The articles collected in this Special Issue will further enhance our knowledge and understanding of cancers and drive the development of novel therapeutic strategies.

Thank you for your valuable contributions to the field of oncology.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Pharmaceuticals is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2900 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
