Section Information

Allergies, also known as allergic diseases, are well recognized as a number of conditions caused by hypersensitivity of the immune system to several kinds of harmful stimuli in the environment. Allergies are a very common ailment, affecting 10–40% of the population of most developed countries and recognized as one of the important factors that reduce quality of life.

We sincerely welcome your submission to the Allergic Diseases Section in Medicines. This section publishes original works in the field of allergy, including immunotherapy, immunopharmacology, mucosal immunity, and inflammation, among others. The Allergic Diseases Section also welcomes short communications and reviews regarding allergic diseases.
