Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue of Games is dedicated to game theoretic modeling of conflict and communication in the context of political economy applications. We invite theoretical and experimental contributions that advance our understanding of political phenomena that rely on such modeling. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Models of debate and rhetoric;
  • Informational electoral campaigning;
  • Communication and negotiation in the shadow of conflict.

We also encourage submissions that contribute to developing modeling technologies for soft and hard information games, disclosure games, wars of attrition, and conflict success function technologies.

Society and Conference Recommendations:

In our efforts to broaden our network and enhance the development of our Special Issue, we aspire to collaborate with societies or academic conferences that align with the topic of game theory. Such a partnership would serve as a platform for wider academic recognition of our Special Issue. Our journal is more than willing to provide sponsorships supporting the cooperation. Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Games is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
