Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Insights from physical fitness and education play a crucial role in studying the quality of life and well-being in the education climate.

The learning and teaching environment is one of the most important factors for developing an academic curriculum and maintaining adequate physical fitness and occupational health of both students and teachers. Any change in an educational workplace should aim to improve the educational climate (EC) in which teachers and students teach and learn, respectively. This environment was initially called the educational environment, but the educational climate is more appropriate. There is a growing interest in the concept of EC attributable to its impact on teaching–learning.

It is accepted that EC refers to everything that happens within the classroom, department, faculty, or university. For some authors, EC reflects the level of pressure in an institution's academic sphere and social environment, which is liable to change within academic years within the same curriculum or even from one class to another. For these reasons, studying and improving our understanding of the EC is very important.

This Special Issue plans to give an overview of the most recent advances in the field of EC and their applications in physical fitness and education. We welcome authors to submit original research articles, systematic reviews, narrative or scoping reviews, and meta-analyses that enhance the body of knowledge in this field. Research conducted in populations that have received little attention thus far is particularly interesting. Controversial works that may lead to a potential paradigm shift will receive the highest priority for inclusion.

Manuscript Submission Information

Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. European Journal of Investigation in Health, Psychology and Education is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
