Background: The field of neurosurgery has witnessed a transformative shift with the introduction of full endoscopic spinal surgery. This minimally invasive approach holds immense potential for improved patient outcomes, reduced recovery times, and minimized surgical trauma. As the demand for innovative and patient-friendly techniques continues to grow, there is a pressing need to thoroughly explore the background of full endoscopic spinal surgery to better understand its evolution and significance within the realm of neurosurgical interventions.
Objectives: This paper aims to delve into the nuanced background of full endoscopic spinal surgery, shedding light on its historical development, key milestones, and the technological advancements that have paved the way for its adoption in neurosurgical practices. Furthermore, the objectives include providing a comprehensive overview of the current state-of-the-art techniques, diagnostic modalities, and treatment methodologies associated with full endoscopic spinal surgery. By doing so, the paper seeks to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge, fostering a deeper understanding of this evolving field among neurosurgical practitioners and researchers alike.
