Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In women, breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer and ranks second among the causes of cancer-related death. However, men can also get this type of cancer.

Common types of breast cancer include invasive (infiltrating) ductal carcinoma (IDC), lobular breast cancer, and ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).

There are various ways of identifying and confirming the presence of breast cancer, including clinical examination, mammography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET) scanning, and other diagnostic techniques.

This Special Issue aims to encourage high-quality original articles and reviews that can provide better insights into the current knowledge regarding the biomarkers, pathology, and diagnosis of breast cancer.
