Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The forthcoming Special Issue on type 2 eosinophilic inflammatory disorders aims to curate cutting-edge research within the field of type 2 inflammatory disorders, involving not only the GI tract, mainly eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), and to a lesser extent other rarer EGIDs, but also embracing the whole spectrum of Th2-driven diseases, such as atopic dermatitis (AD), asthma, chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP), and many more. This Special Issue invites paper submissions that focus on various type 2 inflammatory diseases in order to highlight the intricate interdependency of various organs and regions in the pathogenesis of Th2-driven disorders, in the attempt to highlight the multidisciplinary approach needed to manage complex overlapping features in these patients. This Special Issue strives to advance our understanding and capabilities in the domain of type 2 inflammatory diseases, advocating for the combined effort of gastroenterologists, allergologists, ENT specialist, dermatologist, and many more, with the ultimate objective of enhancing patient care and outcomes.
