Dear Colleagues,
Composite building materials have received widespread attention. Extensive research in composites has led to the development of novel composite building materials with a combination of various functions and outstanding physical and mechanical properties. The demand for novel composite building materials incorporates high strength, high toughness, high durability, excellent thermal performance, and low carbon emission that could enhance functionalities, improve economic efficiency and resource utilization, and protect the environment. This Special Issue of Buildings on “Performance Evaluation of Composite Building Materials” aims to explore the high performance of composite building materials as well as to propose efficient performance evaluation methods for various composite building materials, in order to assist the development and application of advanced composite building materials.
We invite high-quality, cutting-edge articles for the Special Issue. Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Cementitious composite building materials;
- Biomass composite building materials;
- Fiber reinforced composite materials;
- Smart building materials;
- Mechanical and durability performance of composite building materials;
- Performance evaluation methods of composite building materials.
