As Editor-in-Chief of Buildings, I am pleased to announce that the winner of the 2019 Buildings Travel Award is: Maria Teresa De Risi, a Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Structures for Engineering and Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II (Italy), whose research focuses on the “Seismic performance assessment of reinforced concrete buildings accounting for structural and non-structural elements”. A presentation regarding to “Nonlinear Modelling Of Non-Conforming Concrete Frames Reinforced With Plain Bars” will be made by her at a conference in 2019.
