Applications to Join the Editorial Board of Journal of Nanotheranostics Are Now Open


The Journal of Nanotheranostics is dedicated to exploring nano-enabled theranostics for personalized health care. The mission of the journal will be to explore fundamentals as well as applied research to investigate novel theranostics approaches to develop effective diagnostics and therapeutics for disease management aiming to improve personalized health needs. Based on these objectives, this journal will cover all the aspects of advanced research related to the following areas:

  • Advanced nanomaterials for biomedical applications;
  • Miniaturized systems for health care;
  • Nano-enabled sensing systems for target analyte detection;
  • Point-of-care systems for personalized health care;
  • Image-guided therapy;
  • Personalized nanomedicine;
  • Nano-enabled tissues and gene engineering;
  • Nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems;
  • Nano-pharmacology;
  • Nanobiotechnology for drug addiction;
  • Translational and clinical research;
  • Theoretical aspects of disease management;
  • Bioinformatics for disease management;
  • Ethical and regulatory issues in theranostics.

In addition to high quality original research papers, this journal will also publish technical notes, opinions, research highlights, brief communications, letters, book reviews, and comprehensive reviews.

The Journal of Nanotheranostics will be a unique platform for understanding aspects of smart nanomaterials, nano-devices for biomedical applications, rapid diagnostics, and effective therapeutics developed using nanoscience and nanotechnology. The possibilities of numerical simulation, theoretical aspects, regulatory issues, and ethical knowledge in order to manage clinical and translational research into targeted diseases will be covered.

As an Editorial Board Member, you will be responsible for:

  1. Providing suggestions for the journal's development, especially in the initial phase as well as in the long term.
  2. Promoting Journal of Nanotheranosticsat academic events and increasing its visibility.
  3. Suggesting (and optionally editing) Special Issues related to your field of research and recommending potential guest editors.
  4. Prescreening submissions and making decisions on whether these papers should be rejected or accepted for publication.
