Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear Authors,

you did an interesting study but I believe some improvements are essencial in the  text you wrote.

Namely the following - immediately in the introduction you should indicate the sectors you will analyse and why you choose these sectors. The material and methods sections should indicate how many papers you analysed for each sector and how do you arrived to that number, that is, how do you choose the papers; the selection process in very important here. It might also be of interest to indicate for each sector what were the databases. Crucially results should be separeted from discussion and the order of the sectors should be clearly stated in each of these sections. You should also indicate in the Discussion the implications and the limitations of your study. Also Table 1 feels like it is the conclusion of the work. Finally in the conclusion section you should indicate suggestions for new work.

Good luck

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear Authors,

Thank you for your interesting paper. I have several comments on it that could lead to the improvement of its quality, readability and suitability for publication.

- Please add the paragraph that characterizes the next sections of the paper at the end of the Introduction section.

- The paper misses the Literature review section. There are a lot of literature sources focused on a similar issue to your paper. In this context, I do not consider the statement in lines 86-87 that "a very few articles aim at challenges faced by industries during COVID-19, best practices learned, and workforce management after the pandemic" to be true. I am sure that you are able to find several studies aimed at this issue.

- Similarly, there is no Discussion section in the paper. Please, discuss the results of your analysis with the results of the studies published so far.

- Please clarify for which country or part of the world the analysis of the pandemic impact on individual sectors is done. Or is it the general analysis of all possible consequences of the pandemic around the world? Because I think that the impact varies in individual countries. Please, discuss this issue.

Reviewer 2 Report

Dear Authors,

Thank you for your effort with your paper. Now I have the following comments on it:

- I wrote you to add the paragraph that characterizes the next sections of the paper at the end of the Introduction section. You added some paragraphs at the end of the introduction section, but unfortunately, this is not what I wanted. Please, see several articles published in journals to see what the paragraph about the structure of the following parts of the paper is.

- You stated that you excluded the statement about the non-existence of a paper focused on the same or similar issue (lines 84-85). But this is not true, the statement is still in your article, and I do not agree with this statement.

- Lines 115-182 are not a literature review section. It is a methodology of your study based on the selection of literature sources. So there is no literature review section in your paper.

- You added a discussion section. But I do not see similarities or differences between the results of your study and other studies already published here. The discussion section should discuss the results. This section is rather a literature review or the characterization of the current state of the art.
