The manuscript by Schmidt et al. characterizes interaction and antifungal efficacy of NK-92 cells on various fungal pathogens. Due to a potential use of this cell line in therapeutic interventions this is an important extension of previously published data on primary human NK cells. As reviewer i have been assigned to this manuscript after the initian revision and thus restricted myself to evaluation of the overall manuscript content and the revisions introduced in response to the initial reviewers comments. These comments have in my view been adequately addressed.

One minor suggestion: Rhizopus oryzae should be named Rhizopus arrhizus throughout the manuscript to reflect recent changes in nomenclature.

We thank the reviewer for this positive comment. According to the reviewer´s suggestion we changed R. oryzae to R. arrhizus throughout the manuscript.
