Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The paper is interesting and is aligned with the readership and the themes. The following bullet points include some suggestions to improve the paper.

·       Figures have not cited, in text. Some of the figures in the manuscript are confusing because it is not clear what the meaning is.

·        The quality of the figures is poor.

·        Finally, it is suggested that carefully adjust the size of the annotations in the figure

·        Section conclusion is too short, and the future directions must be written.

·       Please add a Related Work section in your paper to display some published work related to your study. This can help readers to understand your work. An in-depth overview of the work of classification should be further given. Therefore, the reviewer suggests discussing the advances by citing some references, e.g.,

·       References must be updated, and it seems that scholar need to refer to latest work to justify the current approach

·        I recommend authors present some papers to show briefly different methods and their feasibility to apply to the studied subject. This can make reader to extend his/her view about the importance of your job. need more convinced literature reviews to indicate clearly the state-of-the-art development.

1.     New modified controlled bat algorithm for numerical optimization problem

2.     A new initialization approach in particle swarm optimization for global optimization problems

·       Some assumptions are stated in various sections. Justifications should be provided on these assumptions. Evaluation on how they will affect the results should be made.

·       The discussion section in the present form is relatively weak and should be strengthened with more details and justifications.

·       There are some occasional grammatical problems within the text. It may need the attention of someone fluent in English language to enhance the readability.

·       More comparisons with state-of-the-art classification methods are needed. The scholar must better investigate the state of the art and better show how this work advances it.

·       Finally, comparisons with other similar existing works must be increased

·       algorithms need to be rewritten in correct scientific format.

- Literature research should be developed.

- In the results section, comparisons should be made with previous similar studies.

- It is eligible for publication if these corrections are made.

Reviewer 3 Report

In  this paper, a multitarget search algorithm for a robot swarm in an unknown 3D mountain environment is proposed. It is mainly based on  3D surface obstacle tracking algorithm.  Experiment results show that the proposed method is efficient for the multitarget search problem. It has some problems as follows:

1. English writing needs to be revised.

2. It should be no blank space before "where" .

3. In line 337, a and b are shown in equation (18). It should be 'a,b and c are shown in equation(18).‘

4. The conclusion is similar to abstract. It should be revised as conclusion, not an abstract again.

5. The paper's organization and format should be revised, especially the mathmatics description in the text, all of them are very choatic.
