Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Please add more citations from 2021 and 2022 to make sure the relevancy of the manuscript.

Please cite the figures (if it is obtained from elsewhere).

The introduction can be added about 2-3 more paragraph by highlighting the related works and research gaps.

The discussion and conclusion should be separated into two different sections.

The paper is long. You need to summarize some Sections and shorten the paper accordingly.

The paper is not well organized and lack of numerous descriptions that makes it hard to read and understand. Several key points of the literature, strongly related to this paper has been forgotten.

Too much technical details are presented without much guidance of the reader through what is shown and why. This needs major improvement for better clarify of the presentation.

The introduction section is not well written. This section needs to be rewritten.

It is unclear what is the novelty of the paper and it is not sufficiently clear what is the managerial implications of the paper and theoretical contributions of the proposed model.

Enhance the readability of the paper, in particular, transitions from section to section should be smoother.

Some sentences are too long to follow, it is suggested that to break them down into short but meaningful ones to make the manuscript readable

If possible, organize a summary of the Related Work section in a table to improve the quality of your research work.

The paper lacks of a summary of the method before presenting the details. This makes it complex to read and understand

The author should provide only relevant information related to this paper and reserve more space for the proposed framework Explain your scheme with a sample data.

Does the proposed method have some shortcomings? In fact, shortcomings don’t reduce the availability of the proposed method. By contrast, it is a very suitable way to help readers to understand the proposed method comprehensively in my opinion.

Some references used are too old the author should add some more recent one

This article is a continuation of the same research in 2019 (Appiah-Kubi K, Wright W. Vestibular training promotes adaptation of multisensory integration in postural control. Gait & Posture. 2019;73:215-220. doi:10.1016/ j.gaitpost.2019.07.197511) and in 2020 (Appiah-Kubi KO, Galgon A, Tierney R, Lauer R, Wright WG. Effects of Vestibular Training on Postural Control of Healthy Adults. CH. 2020;1(1):31-36. doi:10.15367/ch.v1i1.299513) but using a different device, using VR (Oculus).

The content of the article in particular is more or less the same as the previous research, with relatively similar data. The exploration of the use of VR is not explained in detail, even though it should be at this point that this research will distinguish it from previous research. How is VR used?, the format of the VR application and its appearance is explained very little. The author states that The HS-WST module has been adapted into the VR format, but does not explain in detail how it is adapted to the VR format.

Data retrieval methods are good as in previous studies, but those related to VR still need to be improved, because there is a fundamental difference between visual input from the real world and virtual input from VR. The author must add data related to how VR provides visual effects to its users, which should be related to the calculation of postural training. And keep in mind that VR has a usage time limitation, users can only tolerate VR usage in variations between 5-15 minutes, so the data calculation must relate the VR usage time variable.
