Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

In my opinion, it would be appropriate to indicate the deviations of the measurements in Figs. 5 and 7. As was written in the article, 5 samples were applied for each measurement. Perhaps the variance of the values would be interesting.

For a better imagination, it would be appropriate to mark the individual phases in Figs. 2 and 4.

Was the content of the beta phase analysed? The author writes that as the content of the beta phase increases, the absorbed energy decreased.

Reviewer 2 Report

This paper reports impact resistance of commercially applied TiAl alloys and simple composition TiAl alloys at various temperatures. It was well-written. Some comments are listed below:

1.       The composition of TiAl4822 should be listed in line 23, rather than line 55.

2.       In line 25, the composition of TNM alloy should be also listed.

3.       Figs. 2-4 should be “Resutls”.

4.       In Figs. 5, 7, there is no error bars.

Reviewer 3 Report

This manuscript is well done and well written. The aim and objective are too clear. The microstructure chracteristics are very interesting. The results of impact energy are going well with what readers need to well inderstand the idea of manuscript. The manuscript can be accepted in its present form.
