The journal retracts the article, “Digital Transformation and Enterprise Resilience: Evidence from China” [1], cited above.
Following publication, the authors contacted the Editorial Office regarding scientific errors in the data published.
Adhering to our complaints procedure, an investigation was conducted that confirmed substantial methodological issues in the calculation and measurement of core variables of this study. Despite authors’ attempts to re-analyze and replicate results, the errors made in the initial data set meant that the central findings of this study could not be sustained and can no longer be considered valid. Additionally, the Editorial Office confirmed that the authors failed to gain appropriate permission to publish the data contained in study. Consequently, the Editorial Office has decided to retract this article in order to preserve the integrity of the scientific record.
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Sustainability.
