It should be shown in Figure 1 how the depth hs was measured, because the water level above the bridge deck is not horizontal! Is hs the average water depth or is it the maximum?

Figure 8: the distribution of points on the graph indicates that the relationship between the pressure P/Po and the Fr number is not linear.

Figure 12: What do the dashed lines shown in graphs a) and b) mean?

Thank you for inviting me to review the article titled "Impact Pressure Influence of Flood on Bridge Deck under Sediment Deposition Conditions: An Experimental Study." In this paper, the authors delve into the influence of sediment deposition and inflow conditions on the horizontal impact pressure and frequency analysis of bridge deck vibrations during flooding. By conducting systematic physical experiments, this study refines significant parameters and establishes relationships crucial for ensuring bridge safety during floods. This contribution holds the potential to enhance flood control strategies from a hydrodynamic perspective, making it an engaging topic for readers. Despite the paper's strengths, there remain several aspects that could be further improved. Therefore, I recommend A Minor Revision and have outlined these points below.

(1) The manuscript necessitates careful editing, paying specific attention to English grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.

(2) Ensuring consistency in the manuscript format of references is essential, as the current format lacks uniformity.

(3) In Lines 43 to 48, I suggest elucidating the unique challenges associated with bridge safety in mountainous areas or providing concrete instances of bridge damage in such terrain.

(4) In Lines 117 to 118, a more comprehensive explanation of the signal filtering method, particularly the robust outlier cutoff filtering approach, would enhance clarity.

Minor revision is needed.

This paper explores the impact of sediment on bridges and explains the connection between pressure and sediment height. The paper's reasoning is strong enough, and the experimental design is logical and innovative. However, in fact, both the underwater topography and the river sediment are complex. How should the experimental design for the study take into account these real-world circumstances?
