Interesting paper and within the scope of the journal. There are some comments to make it stronger.

- Using the finite element method for simulating the freezing temperature field. please clarify the novelty of the work. 

- The results have shown that the soil water content has also a significant effect on the temperature field of the freezing wall. However, in the abstract it is declared that "Among the influencing factors, the brine temperature and the freezing 16 pipes spacing have the greatest influence on the temperature field of freezing wall". 

- I think the significance of the work needs to be clarified. 

- In the discussion part, the authors should bring some support for their results and describing the charts is not enough in this part.
